Our day began with a landing on North Seymour Island, a haven for nesting seabirds and home to one of the largest populations of magnificent frigatebirds in the Galápagos. As we disembarked onto the rocky shores, we were greeted by the sight and sound of these majestic birds, their distinctive silhouettes perched atop the cliffs and in the trees.
