Guests from the Sea Bird are dwarfed by a towering cardon cactus on Isla Santa Catalina in the Sea of Cortez. This unique island is home to the rattleless rattlesnake and the giant barrel cactus. Later in the day, we were greeted by Bryde's whales and bottlenose dolphins as we approached anchorage at Puerto Gato on the Baja peninsula.
