Waking up amidst the verdant, lush trees of the Amazon is a true privilege. As the sun began its ascent and the birds commenced their melodious chants, our guests readied themselves for another thrilling excursion. Today's adventure led us to the vibrant Yanallpa Creek, a blackwater creek brimming with life. The vivid hues and lively calls of scarlet macaws, saddleback tamarin monkeys, and toucans were a feast for the senses as we made our way back to the ship for breakfast.
Delfin II, continuing its journey upstream, reached our afternoon destination: El Dorado. This unique spot, where the black waters meet the white waters of the Ucayali River, offered our guests an unforgettable experience exploring by kayak. With everyone back on board, we set off for our late afternoon quest in search of nocturnal wildlife. The expedition was a success, revealing numerous white caimans and enchanting fireflies under a star-studded sky. Our return to the ship marked the end of yet another fantastic Amazon adventure.
