Guests aboard National Geographic Venture experienced a spectacular morning cruising the Inian Islands complete with sea otters, sea lions, and even a pod of orca whales! We explored ashore in the afternoon at Idaho Inlet. We visited the Sitka spruce forest, a salmon stream, and the vibrant intertidal zone. Kayakers peered into the waters to spot graceful jellies and salmon heading for nearby streams.
