We started early on South Plaza Island with a pre-breakfast outing along the cliffsides. This allowed us to photograph numerous seabirds nesting and resting on the rocks. Additionally, the outing gave us a chance to visit the habitat of one of the Galapagos Archipelago’s most iconic creatures: the Galapagos land iguanas. We ended the morning with a remarkable kayaking outing to admire the amazing marine wildlife of the place.
Later in the afternoon, we headed to Santa Fe Island where we went deep water snorkeling to enjoy the blue waters filled with playful sea lions and Pacific green sea turtles. Our guests enjoyed walking along the beach with dozens of curious sea lions from a breeding colony. We also hiked deep into the island to find the unique Santa Fe land iguana. It was another special experience in paradise!
