Our day started very early, as this is the best time of the day to observe not only birds but reptiles. Species like the Galapagos yellow land iguana, marine iguanas, and sea lions inhabit this island in harmony. As we walked along the trail, we observed a lot of lava lizards as well as another unique reptile in this archipelago.
The afternoon was perfect for water activities, so we decided to go deep-water snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters of Santa Fe Island, a small but very attractive island. This island is the home to another unique species in the Galapagos, the pale land iguana. Also, you can observe the largest prickly pear cacti in the whole Galapagos.
This was surely a day our guests will never forget!
