Today's expedition on Santiago Island took us on a remarkable journey through the unique landscapes of Buccaneer’s Cove and Puerto Egas. At Buccaneer’s Cove we took advantage of the great conditions to do some water activities like snorkeling, kayaking, and glass bottom boat exploration.
Later, at Puerto Egas, our guides took us to explore the intertidal pools where we encountered the distinctive marine iguanas and Galápagos fur seals. Others stayed at the beach, snorkeling and relaxing. The interplay of wildlife against the backdrop of volcanic terrain created a memorable experience for our guests.
