Today we spent the morning exploring the crown jewel of the islands of the Sea of Cortez, San Pedro Mártir. Located pretty much at midpoint between Baja California and the mainland of Mexico, it is also close to the three main upwelling areas in the Gulf. It is a spectacular place full of life and it truly deserved to be declared a Biosphere Reserve by the Mexican government.
