We spent our last full day on the easternmost island in the archipelago, San Cristobal. We have traveled through time, from Fernandina, the youngest island, to San Cristobal, one of the oldest.
In the morning, we visited the red-footed boobies and took an impressive 1.5-mile walk. Afterwards, we enjoyed snorkeling and beach time.
We returned to the ship for our last lunch and enjoyed presentations as we prepared to navigate to our next destination. Cerro Brujo has turquoise water and white, flour-soft sand. We explored the beach and went swimming as the sun set, saying goodbye to us all…
We have experienced the Galapagos, and this unique feeling will remain in our hearts for a lifetime.
