Today National Geographic Quest reached Petersburg, Alaska, an enchanting destination with captivating natural beauty. Our first adventure was a thrilling hike through the muskeg, an otherworldly landscape with moss-covered terrain and diverse flora. As we trekked through this unique ecosystem, we marveled at the untouched wilderness surrounding us.
After the invigorating hike, we explored the town of Petersburg and immersed ourselves in its rich cultural heritage. The quaint streets and charming wooden houses revealed a glimpse of the town’s history and local traditions.
