National Geographic Venture sailed through the night to arrive at Los Islotes by sunrise that next day. An early morning start finds snorkelers in the water engaging with playful sea lions and Zodiac tours observing pelicans feeding their young on the island’s higher perches. An afternoon of hikes, tide pooling, and kayaking works up an appetite for that evening’s beach barbecue.
