Today on board National Geographic Quest, we woke up to a pink and orange sunrise with a variety of gull species escorting us to Jackson Narrows. Expedition leader Shawn Lucas planned a day packed full of adventures! Zodiac cruises, hikes, and kayaking were available to all. As we set out into the narrows in Zodiacs, we spotted bald eagles and a few harbor seals. After lunch, guests went off for an afternoon-long bushwhack hike, a true explorer’s dream. Other guests joined naturalists for an intertidal exploration and kayaking in Rescue Bay. As night fell and cocktail hour began back on the ship, all our guests cheered at the day full of adventure.
