We began our journey with an early Zodiac ride on the edge of Isla San Marcos just as the sun was rising. Many birds, including boobies and pelicans, and also California sea lions greeted us with the new day. After breakfast, we visited Sweet Pea Beach to practice snorkeling and to explore.
In the afternoon, we toured the mining town of Santa Rosalia where a bakery and a steel church built by Eiffel (of the Paris tower) make this city famous.
