Early in the morning, the sails were raised, and as we sailed along the ancient route of the Greeks, we enjoyed two conferences on history and culture, a guided tour of the engine room and command bridge, and a photo safari with the Zodiac.
The day at sea onboard Sea Cloud II continued with an improvised piano concert by talented twin sisters, daughters of the hotel manager. When the four hands lifted from the keys, we all arose in thunderous applause.
After the symphony concert and dinner, as our beautiful ship sailed through the darkness of the Ionian Sea, Certified Photography Instructor Myriam Casper taught us how to improve our photographs. What a day! We are exhausted but happy when we return to our cabins. Our heads are still full of history, navigation, classical music, and photography. We fall asleep thinking about what awaits us the next day in Apulia. Good night and sweet dreams, my fellow travelers.
