We went exploring today at San Franciscito Bay on the Baja California coastline. We found many types of sea shells, animal tracks, and cactus along the beautiful white beach. The strangest thing was this geologic formation that resembles a mosque. It is a huge concretion, which is a sphere of well-cemented sandstone exposed by stream erosion.
