This morning, our guests were treated to a rare surprise: a winter solstice sunrise Zodiac tour of the mangroves of Isla San Jose. After the full moon set and the sun came up, we saw several species of unusual birds near the mangroves. As we came around the last bend in the channel, we were pleasantly surprised by the officers waiting with the coffee barge, complete with juice and freshly baked cinnamon rolls.
