Sperm whales are one of the 33 species of marine mammals that can be found in the Sea of Cortez. We spent two hours watching these animals before finding the perfect beach for our final afternoon.

During the morning we where crusing between the Peninsula and an Island called San Jos‚ in a channel that carries its name. We were lucky enough to find a group of sperm whales, and had excellent looks at them, and were even able to spot a cow and calf pair.
