Los Islotes & Ensanada Grande
Another beautiful day in Baja California, we awoke aboard the Sea Bird anchored off the tiny island of Los Islotes. Home to a nesting colony of California sea lion, the island was our destination for our morning activities.

The afternoon was spent ashore, at Ensenada Grande. One of the most photographically stunning beaches in all of Baja California, the rolling cliff sides seem to walk out into the crystal clear waters of the sea. Kayakers and Zodiac cruisers alike explored the area near the shore. Hikers chose a different route walking, climbing, and searching the island of Isla Partida.
A perfect day was completed by a beach barbeque. We feasted on BBQ ribs and albacore tuna. Assembled near the shore, the Baja Peninsula was our backdrop as the sun made an exit from our most special day.
