Whale watchers at Boca de Soledad in Magdalena Bay enjoyed close encounters with gray whales from Zodiacs in the morning and flukes at sunset -- a fitting end to a voyage with the great whales of Baja California.

It was a week of blue whales, Bryde's whales, humpback whales, gray whales, pygmy sperm whales, bottlenose dolphins and common dolphins.
