Our day began with a BLUE flash! Even better than green! Bottlenose dolphins came along for some bow riding just after breakfast. The humpback whales and dwarf dperm whales were kind enough to wait until later in the morning to appear in the sea around us as we crossed the Gorda Banks of the Baja Cape region.
As we neared Cabo San Lucas, the acrobatic mobula rays, close relatives of the manta, flipped somersaults in front of us. A sea turtle and a small shark were seen basking on the surface as we passed.
A perfect end to the day came as the sunset next to Land's End, the southernmost point of the Baja Peninsula as the Sea Bird entered the Pacific Ocean.
