On this special World Photography Day, we started our day at sunrise on Punta Cormorant photographing blue-footed boobies, Galapagos sea lions, and the iconic pink flamingos. For our afternoon activities, we moved a short distance to Champion Island to look for the elusive Floreana mockingbird, but instead was distracted by a breaching humpback whale and her calf.
Our late afternoon activity was playing in the waters of Post Office Bay on kayaks and stand-up paddleboards amongst the sea turtles and pink flamingos. A truly special day to celebrate World Photography Day.
