Today the National Geographic Endeavour II visited three different places on Santiago Island. First, we started with pre-breakfast activities along Espumilla Beach, where we spotted sea turtle nests along the beach. Dome of them were exposed, and the ghost crabs making a meal out of the eggshells!
After a buffet breakfast onboard the ship, we headed to Buccaneer’s Cove, where we had the opportunity to do several aquatic activities, like glass-bottom boat riding, deep water snorkeling, kayaking and paddle-boarding. It was an amazing afternoon full of exciting activities!
When we returned to the ship, the crew had prepared a delicious Mexican buffet for us, with margaritas on the house! Finally, some guest preferred to stay at the beach and have a family time together, while others went to Punta Espinoza for a scenic afternoon hike along the coastline.
We returned once again to the ship, where a BBQ dinner was waiting for us in the dining room. What a wonderful way to end this exhilarating day in the Enchanted Isles!
