Early morning found National Geographic Venture anchored in the picturesque Espíritu Santo National Park. Hikes of varying degrees of difficulty were on offer as our intrepid adventurers explored these lovely islands in La Paz Bay. After hiking, many chose to snorkel the pristine waters filled with reef fish of all shapes and hues.
Our afternoon was spent on the lovely Bonanza Beach, a white sandy beach begging to be walked and explored. The hotel team came over in the late afternoon and set up a portable stove and tables in preparation for our beach BBQ! Scrumptious chicken and fish and all the fixings made for a tasty dinner, followed by s’mores roasted over the open fire for dessert. Our evening was capped off by a team trivia contest held back on the ship, a perfect ending to a perfect day!
