It was restorative to enjoy our first full day aboard National Geographic Orion crossing the Solomon Sea. Everyone enjoyed time exploring the ship and settling into their rooms.
We started with a presentation from our National Geographic certified photo instructor to help get everyone ready to document this amazing voyage. In the afternoon, our cultural specialist gave a presentation that really helped get everyone oriented to where we are, where we are going, and why it will be so exciting to meet all the people along the way.
It has been a relaxing and wonderful day, and we can feel the excitement for our journey building as we continue sailing closer to our first destination in Papua New Guinea.
