Finally, we are on our way to Antarctica. I thought I would see penguins waddling across the penguin highway, but to my surprise, we were still in the middle of the ocean. We woke up and ate an amazing breakfast prepared by the skilled galley team. Then we had a presentation about seabirds. Everyone learned a lot from that presentation. We also learned about photography, and that will be so helpful in the upcoming days. We learned about the Zodiacs and how to get in and out safely. Then we met the skilled crewmembers of our beautiful ship, National Geographic Resolution. Later, we ate dinner, and to my surprise, we saw our first two icebergs, and some people saw whales!
