Mike Desiderio

Born and raised outside Philadelphia; Mike spent his childhood playing around at his family's gymnastics facility. From camping with his family throughout the US to annual ski trips to Park City Utah, he has always had an affinity for the outdoors. His college years were spent playing soccer at West Virginia University, while studying international business and management.

After a stint playing soccer in New Zealand, Mike jumped ship and began a career in yachting and SCUBA diving. He spent close to two years in Honduras guiding dives, teaching courses and repairing equipment. He has also worked on a liveaboard dive boat around the Big Island of Hawaii. It was through these experiences that Mike became passionate about our incredible underwater ecosystems and playing a part in marine conservation. He's excited about finding ways to inspire others to observe and conserve our oceans, for generations to come. Photography and Videography is a big way of doing so. He's excited to broaden his knowledge of the natural world with more trips to come. When not working on the ships, you can usually find him immersed in different cultures trying to do what the locals do.
