Jen Guyton
Photographer and ecologist Jen Guyton has spent the past decade immersed in storytelling and conservation work in Africa. Passionate about wildlife, she has studied and photographed baboons in Tanzania, meerkats in South Africa, hippos in Kenya, termites in Namibia, and bats and antelope in Mozambique. Her photography has appeared in National Geographic, and she has also received grants from National Geographic in 2014 and 2018 for projects focused on ecology, biodiversity, and conservation in Gorongosa National Park, Mozambique.
Specializing in African savanna ecosystems, Guyton holds a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University, and she is currently completing a Fulbright-National Geographic Digital Storytelling Fellowship in Mozambique in 2019. Jen is also a fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers and has won awards in various photo competitions including Wildlife Photographer of the Year and Nature's Best.
