Guillaume Georges

Guillaume was born and raised in France. He grew up in Dijon, where he worked on his family’s vineyard, growing grapes for burgundy and sparkling wine. Guillaume has represented France in many major sports events; he participated in two summer Olympics (swimming), spent three years on the French National Volleyball team, two years cycling on the Tour de France, and played in the World Cup Football (soccer) championships. At the age of 15 he swam the English Channel. Guillaume earned a degree in Business Administration from Oxford University in England and eventually ran the family business. After selling the vineyard, he began pursuing his love of travel and the outdoors. He has lived in several countries of Europe, Saudi Arabia, and Lebanon, and now resides in the United States. Guillaume makes his current home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and has dual citizenship in the United States and France. He has been working for Lindblad Expeditions since 1993, traveling in Baja California, Southeast Alaska, the Columbia River and Europe.
